The Funky Monk is a beer brewed with the second runnings of our Black Dog Quadruple. We barrel aged this beer for 5 months in Monte Creek Winery red wine barrels. Red currants were added in the kettle and then barrel conditioned with blackberries. This beer is a contrast between old and new… but definitely funky!
