We avoided doing a pumpkin beer over the past three years, but this Fall we had an offer we couldn’t refuse. Meet “Squash Gourdon”, made exclusively with sugar pumpkins grown here in Kamloops at @thistlefarm. A big shout out to Dieter and all the fine folks at the farm who not only grow amazing organic produce but use all our spent grains as compost in the process! Grains make beer, then grow squash and then make more beer – what an amazing cycle!
Squash Gourdon is available now in the tasting room in bombers and on draught, and will be making it’s way through the city/province over the weekend and into next week.
