This is Frank’s happiest face 🤣. So thrilled to have been able to donate $2000 to the KFB in support of victims of the devastating wildfires this summer. This was made possible as a result of the amazing support we received from July to September while we ran our can fundraiser, donating $1 from every can sold in house. Thank you to Kamloops Food Bank and all the other fantastic organizations who work tirelessly to continously help and better our community.
We are so very thankful to be coming up on our 3rd year anniversary this month. In celebration we would like to invite you all to our annual Black Dog Dinner, held, as always, on Nov 1st (Goosey’s birthday). Tickets on sale now at the tasting room, only 48 available. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone, hope to see you soon.

We avoided doing a pumpkin beer over the past three years, but this Fall we had an offer we couldn’t refuse. Meet “Squash Gourdon”, made exclusively with sugar pumpkins grown here in Kamloops at @thistlefarm. A big shout out to Dieter and all the fine folks at the farm who not only grow amazing organic produce but use all our spent grains as compost in the process! Grains make beer, then grow squash and then make more beer – what an amazing cycle!
Squash Gourdon is available now in the tasting room in bombers and on draught, and will be making it’s way through the city/province over the weekend and into next week.
Another long weekend is coming to a close, time to clear up the empties! We are returning to regular hours as of this week, hope to see you soon!

We are stoked to announce that tacos have finally come to Red Collar!! We’re now featuring tacos every Tuesday from 3-9pm or until we run out!
We will be selling single cans of Impeachment and Alternative Facts for consumption in the tasting room. These beers will not be on draught, only in cans, and $1 of each can sold will be donated to helping the evacuees of the BC Wildfires. It’s an easy and delicious way to support your community, so we hope to see you soon! We will be running this fundraiser until it’s not longer relevant or we no longer have beer 😉.
The fourth summertime Backyard BBQ is next Saturday (July 22nd) once again featuring a unique cask beer and this time we’ll have ribs on the BBQ! The hot kitchen will otherwise be closed, so please come join us for ribs, baked beans and cornbread on the patio!
Quantities are limited – so both food and cask beer is first come, first serve, no tickets or reservations!
The BBQ will run from 4-7pm and then we will have live music from James & The North Shore starting at 8pm!
Bring your Canada Day celebrations to Red Collar to enjoy a pint of one of our limited release Canada Casks with the classic pairing of gourmet hot dogs. We will be getting the BBQ up and running as close to 1pm as possible and the casks will also be tapped early. Limited cask beer and food quantities. No reservations or pre-sales.
