For our second Backyard BBQ of the 2017 season we have teamed up with Valley First, and are hosting this BBQ as a fundraiser for the Kamloops Food Bank. The BBQ will feature a 1/2 chicken with potato salad and a bun for $20, with the proceeds being donated to the Food Bank. Valley First will also be running a silent auction at the brewery during the BBQ.
Tickets can be purchased before the event at any Kamloops Valley First location, and we will have a small number of tickets to be purchased day of at the brewery. June 17th, 4pm-8pm.
Spring has finally sprung and summer is fast approaching, which in the beer world means a plethora of fun summer beers and festival season! We’ve got a busy June ahead of us, so if you’re from out of town and looking to catch up on Red Collar’s newest brews, here’s where you can find us this month!
June 3 & 4 – Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival at the PNE. We will be pouring our two newest brews, Impeachment and Alternative Facts!
June 10 – HOPoxia in Victoria. We don’t get over to the Island much, so come check out this awesome event at Phillips. Hoppy beers only!
June 16 & 17 – vALEmount Craft Beer Experience. The 1st ever beer fest in Valemount is already sold out! If you have tickets please drop by and say hi!

Two new brews have joined our beer line up, and for the first time ever, they have been packaged in 4x473ml tall boy cans. The two new beer are dubbed “Impeachment” and “Alternative Facts”, the former being a soured peach Witbier and the latter a clouded zero IBU IPA. Branded in political jest, you could say we have a lot of feelings about the current administration governing our buddies to the south.
We intend to have these brews available (somewhat) consistently over the course of the summer, so if you come in and we’ve run out (SAD!), don’t dispair, we will likely have another batch ready within a week!

We are kicking off the BBQ season on today, May 20th, with homemade burgers and a couple unique casks! Quantities are limited (and the burgers always go fast!) – so both food and cask beer is first come, first serve, no tickets or reservations! Stay tuned for more info and new beer releases around the same time! Doors are open at 1pm – casks and food will get going between 3pm & 4pm!
Cask #1: IPA hopped with Laurel and fermented with San Diego Super Yeast
Cask #2: IPA and Dubbel hopped with cherrywood smoked Nugget and fermented with American Ale Yeast.
